I am currently the Music Director at WXOU, Oakland University's on campus, student run radio station. My job involves staying up to date on the latest in new music as well as being able to communicate with industry promoters who provide us with new music and the DJs at our station. My responsibilities include being in constant contact with promoters, posting our station's weekly charts to College Music Journal (CMJ) every week, and organizing our music library. 

Communication Coordinator with City of Pontiac

I worked as an intern with Mayor Waterman from the City of Pontiac as well as faculty members from the Oakland University Journalism Department to tell the good stories of Pontiac. We wrote content for "The Spirit of Pontiac," a quarterly newsletter that was distributed physically and digtially to the citizens of Pontiac. I also worked with the OU/Pontiac Initative on their weekly newsletter, which kept its publics updated on updates between the city and the university.

Line Cook at Clarkston Union Bar and Kitchen

I have always been a cook in my own kitchen but this was my first official line cook job. I worked mostly lunch shifts, prepping, cooking to order and serving quality continental-style comfort food at this award-winning restaurant.

This job showed me the true value of customer service. My responsibilities included equipment checkouts, maintenance, and rentals as well as assisting members with whatever they needed to have a safe and enjoyable fitness experience.
