I have been an on-air DJ at WXOU since January 2013 where I host a weekly, music-based show that is cleverly titled, "Attack of the Spak". I also bring in local musicians to speak about their music and conduct ticket giveaways to local shows when possible. During my time as Music Director, I have had the privilege of communicating with artists and promotions companies on a weekly basis to coordinate new music for airplay. I have attened the College Music Journal (CMJ) Music Marathon inNew York City twice and was invited to speak on a Music Director's panel in October 2015.

I have always been a writer and always will be. Since starting my journalism studies with the Holly High School Press in 2012, I have since had articles published in the Spirit of Pontiac, OU News Bureau, Tri-County Times, The Holly Express, and The Oakland Post. I have also posted content to our WXOU website in our album and concert reviews sections.

I have been playing and recording in a band, Pines, for four years. Music has always been a passion of mine and our band has provided me with priceless oppurtunities to play for audiences all over the state of Michigan. Our music is available online at: http://listentopines.bandcamp.com/.
